The Women Empowerment Cell of SAS Government Degree College plays a pivotal role in promoting the holistic development and empowerment of girl students at the institution. With the goal of nurturing future women leaders and responsible citizens, the cell undertakes a variety of activities aimed at strengthening girl students confidence, skills, and awareness.

At present, the cell is led by Dr. MSK Krishna Jyothi as the president, with Smt. P. Parvathi and Smt. K.Lavanya serving as members. This committee is dedicated to empowering young women through various programs, including workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns. These initiatives focus on areas such as education, health, legal rights, and career development, providing girl students with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate challenges and seize opportunities.

Functions of Women Development Cell

1. To provide needed facilities to girl students of the college.

4. To develop their individuality by providing different magazines and books regarding women welfare.
5. To suggested proper suggestions when the girl students face any kind of problems that they cannot face themselves To conduct Guest Lectures by eminent people in different fields keeping in view the needs of the present women
